Cultural Competencies

Consider the following:

Communication and culture cannot be separated. Communication has meaning because of the culture in which it is framed, and thus the culture must exist for communication to be expressed.

A culturally competent system is one that establishes and maintains policies that promote an appreciation for all dimensions of organizational life.

The "cultural health" of an organizational system can only be improved once an understanding has been achieved of the cultural constructs that define the system as a whole.

The importance of culture cannot be overlooked when considering or analyzing any communication interaction or event.

CCI works with organizations to design and implement training tools and models to effectively integrate the cultures of the individuals and the culture of the organization to create an effective, efficient and productive environment.
